As a single guy who likes to use dating apps, and someone who likes pot smoking, I was ready to sign up.

If you are looking for fun and easy personals, SmokeandPoke is a great option. It works well, and with cannabis legal in 39 states, including my own, there was really no reason not to check it out.
First, you need to go through the registration process. You just need to enter your email, your gender, your location, and then confirm you are over 18.
Once you are all verified, just like with other websites, you should set up your profile. I added a profile picture and a few other photos, and then answered a few questions. I could choose my sexual preferences, what I was looking for in mutual matches, and what I wanted from the site, i.e. smoking with other users, smoking with and meeting other members for sex, etc.
When I was all set up, I was able to start searching the site. The platform offers a nice search feature, and with a premium account, you can search by location, activity status, and even by age or if a person has posted photos.
I didn’t notice any blatantly fake profiles, and within a couple of days, I was connecting with people.

If you want to send messages, see more photos, do video chat, use advanced search, and more, you will need a premium membership.
I did the three month premium option, but there is also a trial period, and you can choose a monthly account. They have subscriptions that go up to 12 months. The longer you subscribe, the cheaper the cost is per month. I noticed on other Smoke and Poke reviews that the company offers promos, too, so look out for those.
The premium version was well worth it in my opinion.

As I looked around, I found people from all over the US, and there also seems to be a worldwide increase in members. Since the site is about connecting people who like sex and smoking pot, I was all about chatting with people outside of the US, too.
Another thing that people often wonder about these sites is what the gender proportion is like. Here, I thought it was pretty even, though there are probably more men. - Video Chat / Streams: For people who want to go beyond text. I used video chat a couple times, worked decently.
- Blog / Lifestyle Content: There’s a blog section with content about cannabis & sexuality, tips, etc. Makes the site feel more than just hookups — there’s culture, conversation.
- Strong Support: There is both email and phone support available. Security also seems good on this site, and I never ran into any scammers or safety issues.
Now, here are a few things I think they could improve upon, a bit:
- Almost all features are locked behind premium. If you’re free-only, your options are very limited.
- The mobile experience is good via web, but there is no app available.
- Not every profile is super active — you will come across some that seem like they haven’t signed in for a long time.
